Greeting from sunny Barbados,

It has been a very busy season so far at Settlers Beach.

We had a wonderful Easter Holidays.  Settlers Beach had a lot of families on property, which from what I could see everyone had a blast and created many memories to take back home.  Our activities were well received by the young and the old.  I was not sure who had more fun at the kite flying; the children or the adults.

Spago will be launching their new menu shortly and they have many plans throughout the year to increase their presence on the property.  The food is delicious and the setting is one of the best on the island.  Just imagine sitting on the deck around sunset and sipping a tropical drink, there is no feeling like it.

May is the month of celebration in Barbados with several holidays close together and special focus on children as it is officially Child Month. Polo season is still very much alive here on the Island, with the battle of the sex’s tournament currently in action and then several more international events running through to the end of May.

Summer is right round the corner and is looking to be packed with fun Island activities. The local festivals will soon be here and these are full of culture and bright colour.
